Terry's Accident 07 April 2004

Terry's Accident occured on our road, less than 1/2 mile from home, shortly before 7:30 in the evening on the 7th of April. Terry was travelling North on Tomlin Hill Dr. The sun had almost set. For some reason, his right front tire left the pavement, pulling the truck along into the deep ditch, where it impacted with the culvert, flipping the truck upwards and over, until it came to rest rolling onto its side. Terry was wearing his seatbelt. The airbag deployed. He pushed his way through the windshield glass, while a young boy on the outside of the truck, peeled the glass away from him, so that he could exit the vehicle, which was now smoking badly. Terry was transported by ambulance to Obici Hospital, where he was treated and released, having received stitches to close a bad gash on his arm received while exiting the vehicle. He is sore, and suffers from severe neck and shoulder pain. All in all, he was "lucky" and obviously his guardian angel, was with him.

The question now is was this due to tire failure, or some other reason.
