Sears Tower, July 11, 2008: Matt, Luc & I
Friday, July 11th, 2008… Just Matt, Luc and I
Keva and Jutt were both working today, so the boys and I decided that we'd take the el-CTA into Chicago and use our "City Passes," to see the views from the "Sears Tower." The views were really wonderful, and the experience is one I'd love to repeat again, next time bringing along the rest of the gang!
We enjoyed the architecture along the way, and as always, had a good time on the Brown-Line.
Chicago was very different from NYC, where we are much more familiar— interesting with the River flowing through it. Some of the bridges were really beautiful. Unfortunately for us, things closed earlier in the downtown area than we had expected that they would, so the next time, we would most certainly get an earlier start.
This was also one of those days when I "fell down," much to Luc and Matt's distress… I was fine, just a bit bruised almost instantly, but still we forged on! We had a good meal at a sub shop, "Potbelly's," where the subs really were delicious!
